Virtually all donated cars and a fair percentage of trade-in cars end up being sold at various car auctions around the country. Knowing this, we realized it would be ideal if all used car owners had the option to drive (or tow if needed) their car to a nearby auction facility, put it on sale, and receive a check from the auction company. Unfortunately, this is not possible because auction companies require a seller to be a licensed vehicle wholesaler.
For a reasonable fee, the CarAlternative.com service is a convenient way to put your car (or other type of vehicle) up for sale at a local auction. You sign over your car to us, we arrange delivery to the auction, the auction company does the towing (if needed) and the selling of the vehicle, and after the auction company pays us, we send you the proper payment.
